my tricked up iPod
Yet further proof that I'm a geek.
I mentioned a couple of posts ago that my iPod was not working right. Apparently my "fix" (banging it against my desk) only kinda fixed it. I did some more research and figured out that I could buy replacement parts and fix/upgrade it myself. So, I spent a little less than $200 for a new hard drive (8gb instead of 4) and a new double capacity battery. I followed the instructions that I found online here, took apart my iPod and fixed it.
Now I have an iPod mini on steriods. I can listen to twice as many songs for twice as long. Horray! Wow. I am a geek.
